Illustration to the book "She created"
This book is a great project, created by "Publisher" for young girls in Ukraine. It contains 100 stories about brave, interesting, and strong women personalities of all times in Ukraine.
My heroine in this book is Paraska-Plutka Gorytsvit, Carpathian artist and photographer (1927-1998). She had very difficult life in that time (as many other artists, writers and сultural figures in soviet times). But for me she's a symbol of true freedom and deep creativity. I decided to paint her young and free on top of the mountain, with a strong wind blowing into her face.
